Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows
>>Aparecium<<
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the final version
of the Harry Potter series, which are the works of J. K Rowling, a British
author. She says that the idea of this story came, when she got stuck on a
train journey from Manchester to London.
Rowling, in her very first foray into the world of writing created a highly
imaginative work of fiction, binding her readers in a magical spell for seven
long years in the wizarding world where the story of Harry Potter unfolds.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and the last book of the
series and in my opinion it's got the most felicitous end to what was one of
the best fictional tales of the century. The book is a work of fiction that
transports readers to an altogether different world of magic full of mythical
creatures, fantastical objects , spells , hexes , witches and wizards.
The book depicts the final encounter of
Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. Harry is on his mission to destroy the
Horcruxes of Voldemort and which are seven in total into which the life
of Voldemort is split. Harry has to first find them and then destroy the same
in order to end the nefarious Voldermort forever which is a strenuous task. His
endeavour is to find the Horcruxes and during the journey he comes to know
about the Deathly Hallows, which comprises of an elder wand, a resurrection
stone and an invisibility cloak; the possession of which
will instantly make one the master of death.
Voldermort finds the wand and Harry has got hold of both the invisibility
cloak as well as the resurrection stone. Harry is not alone in his journey, he
is accompanied as always by his besties Ron and Hermione.Dumbeldores army grabs
momentum in this final version of the series. All the secrets following the
first book are revealed in Deathly Hallows. ‘The Prince’s Tale’ is my personal
favorite chapter of the lot which portrays the life of Severus Snape , and how
he tries to protect Harry Potter. In the end Harry realizes the truth about
Severus Snape and we also get to know more about the connection between the
life of Harry Potter and You-know-who.
This final wave of the wand which is
so called The Deathly Hallows is totally mesmerizing and makes its readers
spell-bound.Excellent execution and outstanding way of narration makes it a bit
more special among the other books of the series.
This book gives a strong message about love, courage and the strong bond of
friendship and sacrifices that how his mother sacrifices her life for his son
while trying to protect him from Voldermort. This book is not only the victory
of good over evil, but talks about the power of love and virtues of
courage and selflessness. As mentioned above, this book is absolutely mind
blowing and is definitely a must read for the people of every age group.
The book is published by Bloomsbury and
its price ranges from Rs.401 to Rs.1,476 for
paperback/hardcover copies respectively.
